SmartiPi Touch Pro 1/2/3 - Base extension for power banks

A 20,000 mah power bank can run a Pi 5 and display for over 7 hours!

This 3D printed base extension can be added in between the steel plate and the plastic base on the SmartiPi Touch Pro 1/2/3 to create a cavity for a power bank. A side opening allows you to slide out the power bank and recharge when needed.  A 3mm retention lip around the side opening prevents the battery from sliding out on its own, though we recommend adding foam or non-slip pads inside for the most secure fit.

Four screws are included that attach the SmartiPi Touch Pro plastic base to the brass threaded inserts in the 3D printed extension. The steel plate is then attached to the extension with the original screws. 

Compatibility: Fits power banks up to 75mm wide and 180mm long. Select the 20mm, 25mm, or 30mm version to match your battery’s thickness. Power bank not included.

STEP files for 3D printing can be downloaded here. Parts are designed for brass inserts to be heat set into the parts with a soldering iron.  M3 screws are then used to assemble the base to the base extension.
