SmartiPi Touch Pro USB extender

The SmartiPi Touch Pro has two places to mount the Raspberry Pi. If you choose to mount the Raspberry Pi on the far side and away from the edge of the case that has the USB port openings, you will have access to the USB and Ethernet ports inside the case. This is very useful if you want to hide a keyboard/mouse dongle inside or want to connect a USB device inside the case. 

This kit extends one of the USB ports back out to the side of the case where the port blocking insert part is. The kit includes a 3D printed insert part and USB panel mount cable. Please be aware that the plastic port insert part is 3D printed and will looks different than the rest of the case plastic. 

This kit only works when installing the Raspberry Pi on the far side and away from the edge of the case that has the USB port openings. 

If using this with the SmartiPi Touch Pro W please note there is only three mounting points for the Raspberry Pi on the opposite side of the case. You also need standoffs to raise the Raspberry Pi above the display GPIO pins which are below the Pi in this configuration.
